Gustav T. Kuester (1888–1960) was the president of American Rolling Mill Company (ARMCO), one of the leading steel manufacturing companies in the United States. Under his leadership, ARMCO contributed significantly to wartime production and shifted its focus toward meeting the booming postwar demand for steel in housing, infrastructure, and consumer goods. Kuester was recognized for his forward-thinking management style and efforts to modernize steelmaking processes during a transformative era for American industry.
